Crushing it on the Euro Tour!

The Starboard Dream Team is on fire.  They’ve been on 3 stops thus far on this 2017 Sup Euro Tour and taking top podium spots along the way.

At Stop #1 in the gorgeous waters of Crete, Greece Starbies Leo Nika and Penelope Strickland took top spots to dominate the field.  Then, at Stop #2 in Numur, Belgium, Starboard team rider Bruno Hasulyo claimed the top spot on the podium for the Dream Team.

Starboard at Euro Tour’s Stop #3 in Saint-Maxime, France takes top spots

This past weekend, the Euro Tour took a turn to the Mediterranean for the Sup Race Cup in Saint-Maxime.  In a highly anticipated race, along the iconic shoreline along the French Riviera (Saint-Maxime sits across the bay from the St. Tropez), Sonnie Honscheid entered the tour by storm, announcing her presence with a first place win that brooked no argument.  Paralleled by her, in the men’s division, Aussie Michael Booth also claimed leadership in the race by taking the top spot on the podium, firmly placing Starboard at the top of the leader board overall.

Sainte Maxime is a special place for me as it was the first international distance race I won. After coming off a couple of disappointing results in the USA and Japan I was extremely happy to take the overall this year at stop 3 of the Euro Tour! It was an important win and confidence booster for me and I’m looking forward to the rest of the Tour.”  – Michael Booth
