Great News! Standup Journal, “The Original Standup Paddling Mag,” continues to spread the world’s fastest growing sport into new areas.

We just got the go ahead from legendary singer/songwriter and clean-ocean activist Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Brewing Co. to begin an active advertising campaign with us.

The company will be promoting their LandShark Island Style Lager in the pages of Standup Journal starting with our Fall/Trade Shows issue that is rushed to the three biggest watersports trade shows in August and September, then hits shops and major newsstands Sept. 21st.

Buffett, who also owns the Margaritaville Restaurant chain, is a RABID standup paddler (in fact his sellout concerts feature giant video screens showing him standup paddling along with other ocean lifestyle videos).
