On April 21 – 23rd, while much of the paddling world was grinding it out in the surf and back water sections of the Carolina Cup, white water paddlers – most notably Body Glove team rider, Luke Hopkins – were crushing it at another venue: The Tuck Fest in North Carolina.

Tuck Fest: A Festival Celebrating Outdoor Sports with Competitions and Live Music
The Tuck Fest is a three day outdoor festival held at the U.S. National Whitewater Center (USNWC) in North Carolina. Now, in its fourth year, this cool event celebrates the outdoor lifestyle through a multitude of competitions, exhibitions, demos and live music performances. Tuck Fest competitions include trail running, kayaking, biking, climbing, standup paddle boarding and adventure racing. There are more than 20 competitions during the course of the three day event.

Body Glove takes home standup paddle wins
Body Glove team rider and white water paddler, Luke Hopkins, won both the Sup Enduro and Sup Cross competitions. For both events, he was riding Body Glove’s new inflatable board, the 11′ Outfitter, due out this summer. The Outfitter is a new inflatable standup paddle board designed by Body Glove to serve both rental shops and outfitter operations. Luke Hopkins, clearly, made the most out of the Outfitter’s new design by taking home top medals in each of his categories!

In addition to having a winning Body Glove board underfoot, Luke was also accessorized by many of the functional Body Glove apparel items that make the brand great, including wearing the 3T Warrior shoes while he paddled. Once again, proving that Body Glove is a one-stop shopping arena for standup paddling!
