Athlete: Luke Hopkins – Featuring the Body Glove Barefoot 3T PRO Shoes

Story: Sometimes to surf a wave on the board you want to surf on is really hard and you have to be creative. Here is a sequence showing one of the first times I have done a board transfer on a wave.

This wave, known as the “perfect wave” is really hard to catch at low water on a short river surfing SUP but easy on an 11-footer. So it made sense to me to just take my short board with me and do a transfer mid surf.

Pretty fun move to pull off and pretty rewarding when you are on the part of the wave you want on the board you want. Make sure to have some protection on your feet for river paddling and the great grip with the Body Glove 3T PRO. Check them out at:
